I began my esthetics career in Portland Oregon in 1989 and had the pleasure of working at several of the areas top Day Spas including Bellinis & Rejuvination Day Spa before opening my own micro spa in 2002.
In 2009 I began studying massage eager to expand my repertoire.
In 2016 I was fortunate to travel to Chaing Mia Thailand where I spent a month studying at the International Thai Massage School and recieved advanced certification.
I love all the services I offer but I have a deep affection for Thai Massage and am excited to be offering this modality to the community. Thai massage utilizes some of my favorite healing arts; Yoga, Reflexology and energy work. The massage itself feels a bit like a dance and leaves client and practitioner deeply relaxed and energized.
I am a recent empty nester and am enjoying discovering all the joys of living in my new island home. In particular I am thrilled by the thriving art scene here. I have a deep love of the performing arts, the natural world, literature, travel, wellness.

A form of bodywork that was created 2500 years ago by Buddha's own physician, Shivago Komarpaj., Thai Massage is a combination of energy work, passive Yoga, and Ayurvedic practices. The massage practitioner utilizes acupressure, passive stretches, joint mobilization, reflexology and compression to bring the body back into balance. Traditional Thai Massage is performed on a mat on the floor. The massage therapist utilizes their feet, body weight, hands and elbows to bring the client to a state of deep relaxation and increased wellness. Though Thai massage includes a great deal of movement and stretching, one does not need to be flexible to enjoy it. All movements are practiced with great care and compassion, respecting your bodies current limitations.
Please come to your Thai massage session wearing comfortable clothing. Think yoga class i.e.. sweats or athletic wear and a t-shirt. During cooler days bring light layers such as clean socks and a thin sweatshirt to maximize your comfort. A minimum session is 90 minutes. You can also book a 2 hr session.
For your safety we are not currently taking walk-in appointments.
